I have an affinity for the Elements branch of Photoshop because of my first pen tablet, a Wacome Graphire 2, that came with a copy of Elements 2. It was the only image-editing software I used, and the word “edit” was rare. I used it mostly for cropping, because I didn’t learn about layers and effects until I started working with Owen in 2008, so at least 4 years passed without me knowing even scratch-bottom about image editing.
I think if the more apropos Creative Suite, even version 1, had been included, I would have gotten later versions that I could have tried to learn and use the Animation properties.
The question to ask is whether or not I will now.
